Fictitious Project Revision

This weeks assignment we revisit our fictitious companies websites. Our task: revise them. We need to take what we learned from building our personal brand webstes and utilize that information to revamp the site for the fictional company.

The first thing I decided to take a look at and change was the hompage. I wanted it to be cleaner and less cluttered. So I removed the story from the homepage all together. I expanded those two text boxes creatibg some cohesion.

The second thing I did was remove the "view menu" button in the right hand corner. It seem to be repetivtive. Having that in the corner as well as a button to click on the left side seem to not make sense. I also thought it would confuse consumers as well. They would begin to wonder which button to click on.

The last thing I did was revisit the homepage once again. I decided that the "events" did not need to be on the home page. Declutter, is the keyworkd here. So once I removed that it gave me more room for the social media componenet and I was able to space things out on the homepage so they weren't right on top of each other.
