Check out my groups commercial for Apple Music below.

This project I was excited for. My group and I worked together very well. We decided to utilize the Google Hangouts app because of the convenience. We all had google accounts that we utilize frequently. So the decision was unanimous to use this app for the production process. We were able to communicate with each other pretty well over the app. We never utilized the video chat capabilities because we didn't see the need to communicate that way. We shared ideas, thoughts, processes and discussed the project in detail. We even started a discussion on music itself. The reachability and the use of it was the topic of this talk. This was spawned from the idea that I presented to the team as a theme/story of our commercial. My idea was accepted. We then moved on from there and our ideas grew to what we have put together above.

Deciding what to do in regards to roles of the project was fairly easy. During our talks we discussed what each person would contribute and our strengths. From there we decided which roles suited us best. My role on the team was that of the Video Editor. So the final project was edited by me minus the audio and music which was done by my teammate Ricky Nosworthy. My other teammate Kirstian Semprevivo, we both took on the task of Graphics. We all took part in the role of Production Coordinator, making sure we were all on task, reaching goals and deadlines was an effort from the whole team. Also, the whole team is credited as Writer/Storyboard Creator. We all took part in putting together the story and what we would tell.

As far as, what we contributed individually, I contributed all of the video you see. I utilized stock video footage from sites Pixabay and Pexels Video. Trying to find this footage was somewhat difficult but with persistence I gathered great footage. A lot of it was left on the cutting room floor. Nothing surprised me too much about this assignment. I did love the creative freedom that was given to us. It definitely challenged us to really use our brains and come up with a story we wanted to tell. The challenge was actually adapting to this real world assignment with the knowledge we have already gained. If we doubted ourselves for one minute this project would have failed. However, we faced the challenge head on. Problem solving, working as a team and creating a great product.

All in all I am most proud of how the video came out despite our pickiness on audio quality. Due to limited resources we weren't able to get it to where we truly wanted it but we made due. I am really proud of my teammates for sticking to together even in the face of adversity. In the beginning a teammate didn't respond. This was an initial set back but we took it in stride and kept pushing forward creating the product you see before you today.
