WK3 Exploration: Team Organization & Video Examples/Curating 4

This group project I am uber excited about. After talking with my group we all were excited to be making some thing that was actually touching and something that resonates with and reaches people. A video that is simple and meaning full is what I am most enthusiastic about making. Working with my group so far has been a breeze after we got over the hiccup of one of our group members not responding to us. We thought without them the workload would increase but we soon found out that we have a great grasp on what we want to do. We won't miss not having an extra team member at all. I fell in the Production Coordinator role initially, but we all have taken on that role as of now. The Video Editor job is what I am taking on by myself and I am pretty excited about it because I want to be able to piece together our ideas and vision in the final product. As for collaboration apps, our team has decided on Google Hangouts but we tossed around the idea of using iMessage & FaceTime. However, we settled on Google Hangouts. This app was our final choice because of the ease of access and we all have google accounts. We wanted to be able to keep a record of what we talked about which we could not have done on FaceTime. Which I think would have been a great challenge. Trying to remember what was discussed or having to write stuff down as we FaceTimed would becoming a hassle. Also being apart of the online program, that is a challenge in its self because we don't see each other everyday and we are not in person to exchange ideas. We have to keep the lines of communication open. We also have to make sure we are on the same page. Communication is key to creating a great product. If we don't communicate properly our project and team could fall apart. However, my team has been great at communicating with each other so far. Things have been good and Ricky and Kristian have been very easy to work with.

Apple Music is the brand we have chose. We are excited to get started.
